No optical drive = no software. You have to either download it (prohibitive, slow, hard to find legally) or buy an external drive, which completely defeats the purpose. And no Ethernet? How the heck am I supposed to connect to my Office's high-speed network? And, worst of all, only 1 USB port. Even my ancient Windows NT computer has 2. I was hoping for a small Apple laptop similar to the 12" PowerBook; it's tiny, lightweight and still has full functionality. This looks more like an overpriced toy for trendy Metrosexuals. Damn thoughts. I hear now that USB ethernet adapters don't fit in the tiny USB port on it. The battery is not replaceable, so it's basically a large iPod. But, I agree.
