Here is a challenge to the west – come on – someone with money and in position – take on bringing this child over and educate him and give him an opportunity that he will use well!!

Brilliant boy…i disagree with some of the comments that suggest educating this boy. A formal schooling (i mean the Indian Education system here) will kill this boy’s potential. He can be guided properly and left free to come up with his own ideas about business or life.

great potential which should not go waste. i hope some social service group/ngo/religious institution takes up his education.

Very bright kid.He has enormous potential.Iwill look into getting him to the usa

Very energetic and communicative kid. He’ll probably also know other Indian languages like Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati. His vocabulary and grammar is probably limited to the description of his wares and by the goal of selling the same.

Well he has learnt these few languages in terms of speaking a few sentences to sell his product. good for him to do so and have a competitive advantage. But that is all it is, he is street smart and an entrepreneur, schooling him would stifle his ability to be creative.
Also why should he be brought to the U.S.? We seem to be bitching a lot about our education system especially secondary school education.
With the xenophobia at all time highs and the lou Dobbs of the world bitching and cribbing best let him survive in the harsh realities of Mumbai and possibly succeed to be a successful business person.

The inherent potential of the lingo kid should be developed with international peace organizations and focus on the idea of peace to many countries which will benefit in commercial and global peace. Today he is speaking for his survival and tomorrow he will be remembered for global survival

It is absolutely amazing seeing a street boy learning so many difficult languages just by selling the feathers..

wat a wonder child! hi farah
July 16, 2008 at 9:12 am
For his age he has used more of his talents and memory which normally not being used by most children and hence we see the amazing result .
Great achievement !

What the kid needs is love and nurturing….like any other kid and NOT exploitation. He has a wonderful skill/talent which has great potential and it should be used to help him help himself. My fear is that there are so many mercenaries out there who might ‘endanger’ his life. Hopefully he is smart enough to see the genuine ones from the fakes!

By practice the boy has developed the trmendrous skill of communication
for selling his feathers ie for his survival. As it is his brilliance is confined to
survival. The Govt or the charity people should come forward to test his
brilliance beyond the scope of Buissness.By God grace he shouldn`t be
misued by bad elements.I wish him very good future.
Thanks
